Habitat for Humanity, Saline County, Mo.

Current Events:

The lots have been cleared, holes dug and footings for 2 houses have been poured. Construction has started and the first house is under roof. Volunteers are needed each Saturday Morning. Snacks and the noon meal is provided by area church groups. The work is rewarding -- anyone over 16 years of age is encouraged to join the group. Questions can be directed to any board member -- names and phone numbers are listed.

Nativity Festival to benefit Habitat for Humanity will be November 17, 2007, from 4 - 8 p.m. and November 18, 2007, from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 710 East Yerby Street in Marshall. 200 - 300 Nativities will be on display; Nativity Store and Silent Auction will be held. Four or Five musical groups will perform Sunday afternoon and lunch will be served - all for a free will donation.
